Statement by Carlos Naudon, President and CEO on the appointment of Madeline V. Marquez as Executive Vice President and Chief External Affairs Officer
As Ponce Bank celebrates Latino Heritage Month, we proudly appoint Madeline V. Marquez as Executive Vice President - the first Latina Executive Vice President for Ponce Bank.
Under Madeline’s leadership Ponce was able to capture $260 million in PPP loans, raising $1.8 million in RRP grants and locking-in $225 million in U.S. Treasury ECIP capital. This has had an existential impact on our Ponce family.
We are extremely proud of Madeline, and this appointment reflects the trust that our executive team and Board of Directors have placed in her leadership. Ponce recognizes how critical strong Latina leaders like Madeline are to Ponce realizing its strategic mission towards a $5 billion national presence.
