Changes in the 3rd Round of PPP Loans

The SBA relaunched the PPP loan program in January with some changes to the procedure. Dan walked us through the changes, clarifying who is currently eligible to apply. He also explained the Second Draw Loan for the second-time borrowers and the qualifications that must be met.

Update on the PPP Forgiveness Procedure

The SBA finalized the forgiveness procedure on July 23rd, and opened their forgiveness portal, so SBA lenders like Ponce Bank can start processing your forgiveness applications. Dan walked us through this update, addressing rules that the SBA clarified and some areas that they have not finalized yet.

Forgiveness Portal Walk-Through and 3508EZ for the Self-Employed

This walkthrough of Ponce Bank’s forgiveness portal showed first-hand how the forgiveness application would work. For sole proprietors and single member LLCs, Dan also covered the 3508EZ form which streamlines the process even more for those who are self-employed.
